WaspBane High Efficiency Wasp Trap
£39.99Probably the best known wasp trap on the market
Wasps are truly fascinating insects, but they are aggressive and capable of multiple stinging and are a pest. A wasp nest is a one year cycle. The pregnant queen emerges in the spring and lays her eggs and starts the nest by herself. When she has enough workers, she stays in the nest growing the colony throughout the summer. The final part of her work is in late autumn when she produces new queens and drones, which mate. The pregnant queens hibernate and the rest of the colony dies and the process begins again the following spring. As a BPCA member pest control company we would not encourage you to try and tackle a wasp or hornet nest yourself, and would advise that you call a professional pest controller. If you do want to have a go yourself, whatever you do, don’t block the hole they are using to go out and about while the nest is alive, or your house could suddenly fill up with angry wasps!
