The C-Cap Chimney Cap is an essential roofing material designed to seal disused chimney flues, preventing heat loss, water damage, and pest infestations.

Fits chimney pots up to 280mm (Standard) or 330mm (Large).

Complies with BRE recommendations for ventilated chimney capping.

Check that the chimney pot is free from cracks. Replace or strap any damaged pots before installation.
Remove the spring wires, clamp, and screws from the C-Cap.
If using the insect screen, lay it inside the C-Cap (for Standard units only).
Fit the spring wires into the deeper central slot, followed by the second wire into the other slot.
Secure the wires in place with the clamp and screws, ensuring they are evenly positioned.
Insert two ends of the spring wires into the pot rim on one side.
Push the C-Cap to the far side of the chimney pot and insert the remaining wires into the opposite side.
Tap the C-Cap down firmly onto the pot to secure it in place.
Check that the cap is snug and the wires are correctly positioned for a secure fit.
