Description
Normal spikes with a flat base can be difficult to fit onto ridges as because of the V shape there are not enough contact points for the adhesive. That’s where ridge spikes some in. These have a triangular base that goes over the point of the V on the ridge of the roof meaning that plenty of adhesive is in contact with the tiles and thus they hold much better. Not all ridges are suited to this and if your ridge has more of a curvature you are better off with normal spikes if you want to protect this area from birds roosting and fouling. The standard base is transparent. Pre Covid we were able to obtain a terracora coloured base which required a lead time.
