Description

This Organ-X diatomaceous earth (Desi Dust) is a natural organic insect killer made from crushed diatoms. The insects need to come into contact with the dust, so it needs to be applied where there is activity.

If you are applying to flat surfaces, a light coating is best – it’s a good tip to tap it through a flour seive and look for an application similar to icing sugar on a cake.

It works by physical, rather than chemical means, and is a natural insect killer. The diatoms work into the exoskeleton of the insect and cracks it open.

It is suitable to apply to the backs of animals directly as it is non-toxic

Due to Organ-X Powders non-chemical action, insects cannot become immune or build-up resistance to the product.

The powder is produced from fossilised diatoms and controls parasitic insects by abrasion. It is safe to use in all areas where animals are present

Store in a cool dry area.

Bed Bugs

Wash all bedding in hot water, taking care to keep contaminated bedding seperate from all other bedding / clothing etc. Apply the Organ-X powder into the mattress and the ridges on the outside of the mattress. Spread the powder all over the room paying close attention to any cracks and crevices such as skirting boards, corners, door frames etc Dust the carpets with the powder and pay close attention to the floor around all four bed legs. Repeat the treatment once a week for four weeks.

Red Mite / Poultry Mite

Organ-X Killing Powder is ready to use. As with all poultry care products, Organ-X Natural Insect Killing Powder should be used in conjunction with good hygiene practices. All accumulations of poultry manure on surfaces such as nest boxes and egg conveyor covers should be removed prior to application. Good hygiene practices should be adopted throughout the crop cycle to reduce harbourages. Apply the powder to nest boxes, slats and all areas where the birds roost. If applied to litter it can reduce odours by mopping up amonia. Apply Organ-X powder liberally to problem areas paying close attention to cracks and crevices. Product can also be applied directly to the bird or animal. Repeat treatment as necessary.

Crawling Insects

Apply the powder as required to areas where the insects live or frequent such as patios, window and door frames and cracks and crevices. Dust insects directly if possible. It can applied under cookers, fridges, cupboards etc. Repeat treatment as necessary.

Fleas

Thoroughly treat the floor and bedding in and around pets sleeping areas. Can be applied directly to the animals.

Carpet Beetles

Dust along skirting boards, carpet edges, under carpeting, furniture in closets and shelving where the insects are seen or suspected.
