There are spiders in every house and building and they actually do an awful lot of good. Spiders are known to predate a huge percentage of hibernating queen wasps and if it wasn’t for them, we would have a plague of wasps every summer. However, it’s also true that some 30% of the population has a natural phobia to spiders (arachnophobia) which must date back to pre-historic times.
