Bayer Coopex Maxi Smoke Generator
£25.85Insect killing smoke bomb with a high level of permethrin – very effective against a range of flying insects including cluster flies
In terms of domestic and commercial pest control issues, moths can be broken down into two categories. The first are textile moths which have larvae that feed on natural fibres suchs as wools, cottons and silks etc. The second type are what we call SPI moths which have larave that feed on food stuffs. Moths have four life stages. It’s the larvae that cause the damage, but to get rid of them you need to think about all four stages – egg, larvae, crysalis and adult moths. There are many sprays available but you need to consider combining these with powders that will target moths stages you haven’t been able to spray and therefore give you some residual, alongside traps which lure the adult males to them and are targeted at trying to stop further breeding and egg laying. In the case of SPI moths, you must also find and remove the food stuffs that are attracting the adult moths.
