Rodent Proofing Products

Rats, mice and squirels are extremely destructive animals; indeed they need to keep gnawing away at things to stop their teeth from overgrowing. They will readily go through wood, plastic, even pointing to get to where they want to be. If you have rodents coming inside, the golden rule is to have the problem dealt with BEFORE any proofing is done. If you try and prevent rodents from getting to where they are nesting or to their food source, they can and often do cause extremely expensive damage getting back in. There are a variety of proofing options to suit different situtations from galvanised steel mesh to bespoke vent covers to wire wool to silicone type products ; just make sure the active issue is dealt with first!
